Collaboratively Fighting Lung Cancer

United by love, driven by purpose — we fund research, raise awareness, and champion early detection for lung cancer patients everywhere.

Lung Cancer Facts

80% of Cases Are Non-Smokers

Lung cancer doesn't discriminate. Only 9% of federal cancer funding goes to lung cancer research — we're working to change that.

Our Foundation

Born from Love,
Built on Purpose

"Known for her fiery spirit, competitiveness, huge heart and loyalty — Rexanna impacted countless lives."

Rexanna Hawkins was 49 years old when she died of lung cancer on June 21, 2006. A non-smoker, she received her diagnosis just two months before her passing. Her final wish was to give back.

From that wish, Rexanna's Foundation for Fighting Lung Cancer was born — a beacon of hope dedicated to increasing survival rates through research funding, education, and awareness.

Our mission stands on three pillars: raising funds for lung cancer research, increasing awareness of the disease, and promoting early detection and targeted treatment.

What We Do

Three Goals.
One Mission.

Every initiative we undertake is guided by a singular purpose: improving outcomes for lung cancer patients.

Fund Research

We raise critical funding for lung cancer research and education, empowering scientists to develop the treatments of tomorrow.

Raise Awareness

We break the stigma and spread awareness — particularly among non-smokers who represent nearly 80% of new diagnoses.

Promote Detection

Early detection saves lives. We champion screening programs, targeted treatments, and prevention education.
